Is Cat and Dog Grooming Essential?

Grooming is very important for dogs, cats, and many exotic species. Dogs in particular can benefit from seeing a professional groomer every 6-7 weeks to remove accumulated oil, dirt, dead skin cells, and loose hair.

We recommend introducing your pet to grooming at a young age. At All Creatures Animal Hospital, our groomers can accommodate puppies as young as 6-8 weeks old and provide a gentle, low-stress grooming experience which includes:

  • Bath
  • Cleaning of the face and paw pads
  • Nail trim
  • Light hair trim

By starting early, you can make grooming a much more positive experience for your pet.
